Making Opinions About The Opinion Article

I think it is important that high education schools only receive the best students that apply, rounded, and great academics as they are expecting "Because we both believe that higher education should select the best possible students...".

It's not easy to select the best students from all applicants, but all they're looking for is a well-rounded students, "We assess applicants according to many dimensions." Race is not a problem for deans, but for others it might make a little change, sometimes race is something essential in life, that's what some universities apply. I don't really agree with race being a problem for entering a university, I think nowadays there's still some differences for that, but not for letting a student apply to a university. If I was a dean, I wouldn't care about the race, though, I will really examine each student carefully to make the best decision.

The best way to choose a student applicant, is by the recommendation letters for law schools, "Essays and letters of recommendation are critical components of the application process at law schools." By having this letters, and essays they evaluate students easier because of others giving and saying their own experience and knowledge about each applicant. I might think that race doesn't matter when it comes to apply and choose, but I agre with race mattering around campus and off educational campus, "Race is sometimes and important and relevant factor in group discussions both inside and outside of the classroom."

I agree with choosing wisely all students wanted in the law schools, considering all aspects of each applicant. I agree and disagree with race being a problem. Race is considered sometimes a problem, but it shouldn't be determined as entering a university or not. I think it's important to have a little bit of all because in adult life (job and city life) you'll have to deal with all types of people, so I think it's good practice to have some sort of contact with all people, including different types of race.
