Cafeteria? I Don't Think So

11:40… Time for a delicious meal. When it’s time for lunch, the cafeteria is full of people. A long line, some waiting, others cutting. Everyone is pushing to enter as soon as possible, while I’m just thinking, we are all going to enter some time, why the need of pushing? I don’t get it.

As soon as you enter, you can barely walk, it’s not only uncomfortable, but people walking with trays full of food, trying not to pour you food. For high school, the cafeteria seems so small. Having to wait for almost twenty minutes to finally get what you’re looking for, food. While it’s our lunch time, K-4 is also having their lunch, so they’re running all over the place, you can’t see them because they are so small. When you are finally getting there, you want to get a tray, but you notice that the tray is dirty or wet. You try to get another tray or at least clean it. Grabbing your fork, knife and spoon, but you notice the same thing, wet, or even sometimes tehere’s not enough for everybody!

When you are already set, you talk to the lady offering food to you. You say “just a little please.” Is like if she hears, “a lot please.” They serve you the amount they want, thinking that we are all dead for food, and that we are some kind of abnormal people with giant stomaches. Have you ever seen Timmy Turner? Well, in that school cafeteria, is some sort of our cafeteria style. The lady pours food with big spoons like if there’s no way they’re running out off food.

I don’t really like how the cafeteria works itself, and how people working there get desperate by seeing lots of kids coming for food. I don’t like it and that’s what I think and see about it.

Making Opinions About The Opinion Article

I think it is important that high education schools only receive the best students that apply, rounded, and great academics as they are expecting "Because we both believe that higher education should select the best possible students...".

It's not easy to select the best students from all applicants, but all they're looking for is a well-rounded students, "We assess applicants according to many dimensions." Race is not a problem for deans, but for others it might make a little change, sometimes race is something essential in life, that's what some universities apply. I don't really agree with race being a problem for entering a university, I think nowadays there's still some differences for that, but not for letting a student apply to a university. If I was a dean, I wouldn't care about the race, though, I will really examine each student carefully to make the best decision.

The best way to choose a student applicant, is by the recommendation letters for law schools, "Essays and letters of recommendation are critical components of the application process at law schools." By having this letters, and essays they evaluate students easier because of others giving and saying their own experience and knowledge about each applicant. I might think that race doesn't matter when it comes to apply and choose, but I agre with race mattering around campus and off educational campus, "Race is sometimes and important and relevant factor in group discussions both inside and outside of the classroom."

I agree with choosing wisely all students wanted in the law schools, considering all aspects of each applicant. I agree and disagree with race being a problem. Race is considered sometimes a problem, but it shouldn't be determined as entering a university or not. I think it's important to have a little bit of all because in adult life (job and city life) you'll have to deal with all types of people, so I think it's good practice to have some sort of contact with all people, including different types of race.

Feeling Alone in the Darkness

Have you ever feel so lonely that the only thing you can think about is being with your best friend? Being in a dark place where there's nothing but yourself. Gilgamesh is alone now, Enkidu is gone. "Enkidu has died. Must I die too?Must Gilgamesh be like that?"Have you feel guilty of doing something and others blame your friend? Gilgamesh is feeling a similar guiltiness, he thinks Enkidu didn't deserve to die. He feels that he's the one that should, feeling completely responsible for his death. In the darkness being completely alone with no companion anymore, Gilgamesh is always thinking about Enkidu always reminding himself and Urshanabi Enkidu's bravery and facility in the Cedar Forest. Gilgamesh lost a companion who loved... how would you feel if you lost your greatest companion?

Gilgamesh is trying to protect himself by hiding him with beasts skin. I connect this to Beauty and The Beast, because the beast is always hiding himself from who he really is, just like Gilgamesh. Gilgamesh is trying to hide his fear, but by also doing this he is showing his honor. Gilgamesh continues his journey until finally he sees water, the sea. No one has ever come back when they try to go across it.  Gilgamesh is decided to take the risk and what ever it takes to complete his journey only thinking on Enkidu his most leal companion.

Leagues and Leagues Into the Wilderness

In tablets four and five of "Gilgamesh," Enkidu and Gilgamesh have a long trip into the wilderness to kill Huwawa, the demon. Gilgamesh has dreams where the only thing he dreams about is negative, but Enkidu told him his dreams are fortunate. "The dream you dreamed tonight is fortunate. The bull you dreamed of in your dream is not the demon enemy guardian of the forest... ."Gilgamesh asks Enkidu if everything that occurred in his dream is true, though, Enkidu thinks more positively because he knows Gilgamesh is powerful and very strong, still he's scared. Enkidu knows the wilderness so he leads Gilgamesh into it, into the Cedar Forest. In Cedar Forest they found the demon, Huwawa, and together they killed it.

Enkidu is supporting Gilgamesh by saying he's powerful and very strong, "You are the strongest of all." I relate this to a situation in my life, very personally. My best friend has always supported me, but when I seemed to be going down, scared, and sad feelings, she always tells me that I'm really strong and that no person can bring me down. It's like Gilgamesh wanting to destroy the demon, I was trying to destroy my sadness. We were both facing things, and both of us had a person with us making us feel powerful and strong. Finally, we both met our goals, killing the demon, and destroying the sadness.
